Benny Steinmetz Group Resources Ltd. (BSGR) subsidiary Bateman Litwin NV (AIM:BNLN) has won a second contract from Gaz de France SA (Euronext: GAZ). Bateman Litwin unit Litwin SA and two partners will build a €55 million natural gas compressor station for Gaz de France subsidiary GRTgaz at Saint Victor in the Allier Department in central France. Bateman Litwin's share of the contract is €38 million. Its partners are Friedlander Groupe ORTEC and Cegelc.
The Saint Victor project will be carried out in 2008-10. The project is part of the second phase of the GRTgaz compressor station upgrades. Bateman Litwin and its partners won the contract for the first part of this The first part of the OSCAR OSCAR (Compressor Station Optimisation and Network Adaptation) program in December 2006.
Two weeks ago, a consortium comprising Bateman Litwin, Boccard and Vinci Energies unit Actemium won a €143 million Gaz de France contract for the redevelopment of an underground gas storage facility, including gas compression and treatment, in Beynes, France.
Bateman Litwin fell 4.2% on Friday to ₤1.485, giving a market cap of ₤167 million. The share has fallen 27% since January.
