Settlement in Tel Aviv Jacuzzi case

Ofra Strauss will demolish the Jacuzzi and the municipality will withdraw its eviction notice.

The Tel Aviv municipality and Strauss Group chairwoman Ofra Strauss have settled their lawsuit over her Jacuzzi, which the municipality said was built on public land. Under the settlement, Ofra Strauss and her partner, Adi Keizman, will vacate the public land they squatted on and demolish the wooden building and Jacuzzi occupying the 600-square meter city-owned lot.

The municipal eviction notice stated that Strauss and Keizman held private parties and events on the lot without permission. If they vacate the lot and the structure, the municipality will withdraw the eviction notice. Municipal authorities and the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court still have to approve the settlement.
