Ra'anana-based IT infrastructure design and installation company IT Works Ltd. has won a €8.4 million contract to install a low-voltage system for a German assisted living facilities company. The first project, at a facility in Berlin, was worth €1 million.
IT Works will design and install IP-based computer, telephony, entry control, fire alarm, monitoring, and patient alert systems.
IT Works CEO Nir Kapelushnik said, "The advantage of low-voltage IP-based systems compared with legacy analog systems is that it lowers construction costs by 2-3%. German assisted living facilities company chose us to carry out the project after it was satisfied with our IT work at the Berlin facility."
IT Works has a German office, which provides customer services, but the project will be carried out by teams from Israel. The company has 40 design and logistics managers and overseas project teams.
