Negotiations to sell the company to Len Blavatnik were due to resume after the holidays.
In a laconic statement to the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE), Ma'ariv Holdings Ltd. (TASE: MARV) said that negotiations to sell the company "may not be resumed because of the prevalent economic situation in the world."
Ma'ariv controlling shareholder Ofer Nimrodi is in talks to sell the company, which owns Hebrew daily "Ma'ariv, to US businessman Len Blavatnik. The negotiations were due to resume after the holidays.
