Whitewater Security, Terrogence sign water protection deal

The customer is a major water facilities firm.

Whitewater Technology Group subsidiary Whitewater Security Ltd. and Terrogence Ltd. havesigned a cooperation agreement with a major international water facilities operating company. The name of the company and the size of the deal was not disclosed.

Whitewater Security and Terrogence will jointly provide general and focused intelligence services regarding threats to water supplies by various terrorist groups.

Terrogence is an Israeli company that specializes in the collection and analysis of Middle Eastern and Jihadi related intelligence, including evaluation of relevant global terrorist threats, reviews of political-military affairs in Iran and the Persian Gulf, worldwide Jihadi and Palestinian terror groups, and public opinion in the Muslim world. The company is owned by CIO Gadi Aviran and its CEO is Israeli intelligence veteran Aviram Halevi.

Terrogence and Whitewater Security established their collaboration during last September's Herzliya Interdisciplinary Center's antiterrorism conference. At the conference, Whitewater Security presented technological solutions for identifying and monitoring toxins, and for warning and treatment systems for dealing with water pollution caused by natural disasters, breakdowns, or sabotage. The company also provides consultancy services for protecting water supply systems and facilities.

Whitewater Security CEO Dovev Levinson told "Globes", "Water utilities around the world understand the importance of new thinking about dealing with threats to water supplies. The company senses threats to facilities at a number of especially sensitive sites."
