Leumi Card, which is 80%-owned by Bank Leumi, is the third largest credit card company in Israel.
The board of Bank Leumi (TASE: LUMI) has approved the appointment of Danny Cohen as the new CEO of its credit card subsidiary Leumi Card Ltd. Cohen will replace Arie Heilweil, who died a few weeks ago. The chairman of Leumi Card is head of banking division Baruch Lederman.
Cohen (44) has worked at Bank Leumi for 17 years. He currently serves as head of the bank's investment sector and deputy head of the banking division, a role in which he has overseen the bank's launch of its pension advisory service.
Leumi Card is the third largest credit company in Israel and is jointly owned by Bank Leumi (80%) and Azrieli Group (20%).
