A report that Shufersal pulled brands from its shelves in its battle with Blue Square Israel is being probed.
8 investigators sent by Antitrust Authority director general Ronit Kan have raided the offices of supermarket chain Shufersal Ltd. (TASE:SAE;Pink Sheets:SSLTF.PK) in Rishon LeZion.
Shufersal CEO Effie Rosenhause and other executives were questioned under warning.
The raid follows the investigation opened yesterday following a "Globes" report that Shufersal decided to pull various Coca Cola, Osem, and Wissotsky products from its shelves as part of its battle with rival Blue Square Israel Ltd. (NYSE: BSI; TASE: BSI).
The items were being sold at very low prices in supermarkets belonging to Blue Square.
