SercoNet founder sells patents

The firm closed down in 2008.

SercoNet Ltd. founder and CEO Yehuda Binder has sold the company's intellectual property to Mosaid. The size of the deal was not disclosed, but sources estimate it at $10-20 million. Mosaid will also pay royalties on any future sales of products that are based on SercoNet's patents.

SercoNet developed high-speed home networking solutions over telephone wires. The company was in business for ten years before closing in 2008. The company raised $20 million from Pitango Venture Capital, Platinum Neurone Ventures, Alice Ventures, and Israel Technology Partners Capital Fund LP.
