Trading software co Tradonomi raises $6.3m

Tradonomi claims that it signs up 2,000 new customers each month.

Trading software developer Tradonomi Ltd. has raised $6.3 million in its second financing round from BRM Capital and a number of angel investors, including Guy Gamzu and Pitango Venture Capital managing partner Nechemia Peres as a private investment.

According to IVC Online, Tradonomi has raised $8 million, including the current round, since it was founded in 2007. CEO Johnathan (Yoni) Assia, his brother, VP product Ronen Assia, and CTO David Ring, founded the Cyprus-based company.

Tradonomi developed eToro, an online forex trading platform, which is user-friendly and accessible and enables non-professionals to traded in markets that were previously the exclusive arena of professional investors.

Tradonomi will use proceeds from the current round to hire more employees in order to meet demand for its product. The company claims that it signs up 2,000 new customers each month. Over the next two years, it aims to expand its operations to trading in stocks.
