TASE on holiday schedule

There will be shortened trading hours on Sunday and Monday.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) was closed on Wednesday and Thursday in celebration of the Passover holiday. Trading will continue to be affected over the next several days of the week-long holiday as well.

On Sunday and Monday, April 12-13, trading will be on a shortened schedule, with stock and bond trading ending at 2:45 each day. Continuous trading will end around 2:30, and the closing phase will be between 2:40-2:45.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, April 14-15, the market will be closed. (On April 14, there will be clearing services, but no trading.)

The stock market will again be closed on Memorial Day, April 28, and Israel's Independence Day on April 29.

The Tel Aviv 25 Index, at 756.37 is up 15.5% so far in 2009, and the Tel Aviv 100 Index, at 691.69, is up 22.62% for the year to date.
