Focus Telecom in Rwanda atomic clocks deal

Focus Telecom synchronizes and maintains atomic clocks made by Symmetricom.

Focus Telecom Ltd. has won a NIS 500,000 tender to install atomic clocks for the telecommunications network of Rwanda. The atomic clocks are an essential component of these networks used to synchronize communications frequencies. More advanced and accurate synchronization is necessary as the quantities of data transmitted and transmission speeds increase. Triple play services make synchronization even more critical.

Focus Telecom synchronizes and maintains atomic clocks made by Symmetricom Inc. (Nasdaq: SYMM) for the networks of Israeli companies, including Bezeq The Israeli Telecommunication Co. Ltd. (TASE: BEZQ), its subsidiaries Bezeq International Ltd. and Pelephone Communications Ltd., as well as Hot Cable Systems Media Ltd. (TASE: HOT), Internet Gold Golden Lines Ltd. (Nasdaq: IGLD; TASE:IGLD), Partner Communications Ltd. (Nasdaq: PTNR; TASE: PTNR), and Cellcom Israel Ltd. (NYSE:CEL; TASE:CEL).
