012 Smile exec: This collaboration gives small businesses a platform for expanding their business.
Google Inc. (Nasdaq: GOOG) and 012 Smile.Communications Ltd. (Nasdaq:SMLC; TASE: SMLC) today launched a joint program for small businesses in Israel. Smile will offer a full online advertising package that includes a domain name, design, building, and storage of a website and a free coupon for Google AdWords. The package will cost NIS 69.
The goal of the online advertising package is to enable small business owners to compete with large companies by creating a web presence and expanding their target audience. WebsPlanet Ltd. will design the sites and AdWords' authorized dealer Power Phone Net Ltd. will manage the campaign
Smile business marketing manager Yosef Mor-Yosef said, "In the era of spam laws, small businesses have only limited advertising capability. This collaboration gives them an excellent platform for expanding their business, and to gain experience with one of the world's strongest advertising platforms."
