Rockwell Automation to close Israeli unit

Yokne'am-based Anorad Israel has 43 employees.

Sources inform ''Globes'' that Rockwell Automation Inc. (NYSE: ROK) plans to close its Israel unit Anorad Israel, ten years after acquiring the company. Anorad, part of Rockwell Automation's Motion & Information Group, develops multi-axis positioning systems to component-level linear motor products for the semiconductor industry. The company's products enable the production of nanometer technology processors.

The Yokne'am-based unit has 43 employees. Rockwell Automation notified Anorad Israel's employees that the company will be closed.
