Nazareth co Galil Software raises NIS 3m

One of the two new investor groups is led by Eyal Goldwerger, the former CEO of XMPie.

Nazareth-based software service provider Galil Software Ltd. has raised NIS 3 million in its second financing round from new and current investors. The company has raised NIS 7 million since it was founded in 2007, including the current round.

One of the two new investor groups is led by Eyal Goldwerger, the former CEO of XMPie, which was acquired by Xerox Corp. (NYSE:XRX) for $54 million. The other investor group is led by Arledan Investment Ltd. (TASE:ARDN), run by CEO Eilon Michaeli, a former CFO of Comverse Technology Inc. (Pink Sheets: CMVT).

Galil Software's founders include former Comverse CEO Zeev Bregman, who serves as chairman, and Jimmy Levy, who once ran the Comverse Mobile Content Division, who serves as a director. Galil Software's CEO is Inas Said.

Galil Software provides computer outsourcing services based on Israeli Arab manpower.
