IDC Israel: The Israeli IT services market will grow by an average of 5% a year to $2.55 billion in 2013.
IDC Israel Ltd. has declared Matrix IT Ltd. (TASE:MTRX) as Israel's largest IT services company at the end of 2008, with a 15% share of the $2 billion market. Malam Team Ltd. (TASE: MLTM) is in second place, with a market share of 9.4%, IBM Israel Ltd. is in third place with 7.4%, and Taldor Group (TASE: TALD), is in fourth place with 7%.
IDC rated HP Israel Ltd. and EDS Israel Ltd. separately, as before the merger of their US parent companies, since it only came into effect this year. The two companies had a joint 9.8% share of the Israeli IT services market at the end of 2008, putting the merged company in second place.
