Bank Hapoalim (TASE: POLI) has launched a new service, whereby people travelling abroad can order foreign currency in advance through the bank's direct services, Poalim Internet and Poalim Telephone, and collect the money at the bank's counter at the duty free area in Ben Gurion Airport's Terminal 3. The service is offered for 34 currencies.
Customers can stipulate in advance the denominations they want. The bank is offering a discount on the fee for buying foreign currency via its direct services. Customers can also choose whether to charge their shekel checking account or in their foreign currency checking account.
