Amdocs Ltd. (NYSE: DOX) has reached into its $1.3 cash stockpile and bought privately-held jNetX for $50 million.
jNetX is a service delivery platform (SDP) provider.
In addition to product synergies, Amdocs and jNetX share a number of top tier customers, including Vodafone Group, British Telecom and Mobilkom.
Amdocs does not expect a material impact from the acquisition of jNetX on fiscal year 2010 non-GAAP earnings per share.
Amdocs shares closed at $25.25 yesterday, reflecting a market cap of $5.15 billion.
