BioView Ltd. (TASE:BIOV) has sold another cancer screening system to the US Veterans Administration Healthcare System, following a previous sale in 2007. The company did not disclose the value of the deal.
The Veterans Administration operates more than 150 national health centers and an even larger number of local clinics, serving more than five million veterans of the US armed forces.
Bio-View has also been included on the Deloitte Technology Israel Fast 50 list for 2009. The Fast 50 is a list of the fastest growing private high-tech companies based on percentage growth over five years.
Bio-View develops cell imaging equipment, biological kits and software. Its automated scanning microscope and image analysis systems perform a wide range of genetic tests based on fluorescent in situ hybridization (FISH) technology with applications in cancer screening and diagnosis, prenatal and post-natal genetic analysis and minimal residual disease,
Bio-View's share rose 3.6% by midday to NIS 1.37, giving a market cap of NIS 16 million.
