Website security solutions developer Applicure Technologies Ltd. (TASE:APCR) today announced that the Office of the Chief Scientist has approved the company's R&D plan to develop a central management, command and control platform for Internet server protection software. The Office of the Chief Scientist will provide a grant for 30% of the project's estimated NIS 2.8 million cost.
The grant is for the development of central management software, which will help Applicure push its dotDefender website program among new target audiences worldwide: hosting providers and large enterprises
The grant is subject to the terms of the Encouragement of Investment in R&D Law, including the payment of royalties to the state from the company's revenue.
Applicure's share rose 1.1% by mid-afternoon to NIS 4.65, giving a market cap of NIS 24.9 million.
