Colorado medical center begins use of MCS device

MCS CEO Adi Dagan: This is one of the leading medical centers for treating professional athletes in the US.

MCS Medical Compression Systems (DBN) Ltd. (TASE:MDCL) today announced that a medical center in Colorado has begun using the company's non-invasive pneumatic blood circulation treatment in the limbs to prevent Deep Vein Thrombosis following joint replacement surgery.

MCS said that the medical center's switch to using the ActiveCare + SFT product followed the success in company's clinical trials of the product, as well as successful use of the product at other prominent hospitals. The second-generation MCS product includes synchronized flow technology (SFT).

MCS CEO Adi Dagan said, "We're pleased to announce that a medical center in Colorado will use the ActiveCare + SFT product as its primary treatment to prevent Deep Vein Thrombosis. This is one of the leading medical centers for treating professional athletes in the US. As part of our strategy, which emphasizes marketing and systematic penetration to leading medical centers, we've begun delivering the product to this medical center. This order comes after, and as the result of, previous successful penetration at seven leading medical centers in the US."

MCS's share fell 0.3% by midday to NIS 2.18, giving a market cap of NIS 78 million.
