Ethosia survey: All the respondents believe that their companies will hire more staff next year.
81% of high-tech and biotech CEOs and VPs believe that the global financial situation will recover in 2010, according to a survey by executive placement firm Ethosia Human Resources Ltd. 46% of the respondents predict that the average salary in their companies will rise next year, and a similar proportion believe that salaries will remain unchanged.
All the respondents believe that their companies will hire more staff next year. Half the respondents predict growth of up to 10% in their companies' work forces.
Ethosia CEO Eyal Solomon said, "Executives believe that job security will continue to be an important factor in the labor market next year."
Ethosia said that the hottest job in high-tech next year will be software development, followed by sales and marketing, hardware development, operations, engineering, and manufacturing.
