Antitrust Authority head Roni Kan approved Shaul Elovitch's purchase of the controlling core of the telecom company with conditions.
Shaul Elovitch has surmounted another hurdle en route to his acquisition of Bezeq Israel Telecommunications Company Ltd. (TASE:BZEQ). The Israel Antitrust Authority yesterday approved his acquisition of a controlling core in Bezeq. Sources inform "Globes" that the decision was today sent to all parties concerned.
Antitrust Authority head Ronit Kan has imposed a number of conditions on Elovitch in order for him to complete the deal. These include the sale of Eurocom Group's holdings in DBS Satellite Services Ltd. (yes) to a third party. If Eurocom fails to make the sale then a trustee will be appointed to do so.
