Passengers on flights cancelled since April 15 will be given priority in ticketing.
British Airways yesterday notified the Israel Civil Aviation Authority that it was resuming Tel Aviv-London flights following the reopening of UK air space and after successful test flights by it and other airlines. Yesterday, the airline made its first flight from Tel Aviv to London since the eruption of Iceland's Eyjafjallajokull volcano closed UK air space last week, as well as a flight from London to Tel Aviv.
British Airways will operate two more flights from Tel Aviv to London at 5 pm today (flight BA 162, delayed from this morning, and afternoon flight BA 164). Flights out of London are gradually returning to schedule, and all long-haul flights will operate on schedule as of today.
To help passengers whose flights were cancelled since April 15, no new tickets will be sold on these flights, in order to give these passengers priority.
