The secure electronic payment solutions developer predicts no change for the third fiscal quarter.
VeriFone Holdings Inc. (NYSE: PAY; TASE: PAY) increased its revenue nearly 20% to $240.7 million for its second fiscal quarter of 2010, which ended in April, from $201.6 million for the corresponding quarter of 2009.
The secure electronic payment solutions developer almost doubled its GAAP-based net profit to $20.2 million ($0.23 per share) for its second fiscal quarter from $10.7 million for the corresponding quarter. Non-GAAP net profit rose to $25.3 million ($0.29 per share) from $14 million.
In its guidance, VeriFone predicts no change for the third fiscal quarter, with a non-GAAP earnings per share of $0.29-0.30 on $245-250 million revenue. For the fiscal year as a whole, which ends in October, the company expects $1.12-1.15 on $960-970 million.
VeriFone is due to delist from the TASE.
