Capital market taxes totaled NIS 266 million in May.
Tax revenues totaled NIS 17.7 billion in May 2010, compared with NIS 14.9 billion in May 2009, the Ministry of Finance reported today. Tax revenues totaled NIS 81.4 billion in January-May, 44.5% of the original revenues projection for the year.
The ministry said that the tax revenues figures were in line with macroeconomic indicators for Februay-April published by the Central Bureau of Statistics.
Capital market taxes totaled NIS 266 million in May, 20% more than in May last year, and rose 49% in January-May over the corresponding months.
