Long time White House correspondent Helen Thomas resigned today following wide ranging criticism that followed anti-Semitic comments she made after a White House ceremony.
Thomas said Jews should "get the hell out of Palestine" and "go back" to Poland, Germany, or America.
Helen Thomas, who reported for Hearst, had covered US presidents since 1961.
