Sources inform ''Globes'' that Israeli post production firm Gravity Ltd., a producer of 3D visual effects for advertisements, has signed a cooperation agreement with Ormaq Worldwide Entertainment Inc. to create 3D movie ads for Gravity customers.
Ormaq converts 2D films into 3D. Its customers include Cartoon Network and CNN. It provides services for a range of media, including TV, cinema, Internet, mobile, DVD, and Blu-Ray.
The first Gravity-Ormaq collaboration is a 3D advertisement for the Milky 3 chocolate pudding made by Strauss Group Ltd. (TASE:STRS), which will be shown in Israeli cinemas beginning next week. The ad tempts the viewers to reach out to touch the Milky cup on the screen.
The Gravity-Ormaq collaboration includes ad characterization and the provision of customized 3D solutions for each company, and customizing ad scripts to maximize the 3D experience.
Gravity business development director Elinor Schops told "Globes", "The Milky 3 and Telma ads were the first signs of the 3D process in Israel."
