Noble Energy expands Israel office

Houston-based Noble Energy owns 36% of the Tamar license.

Noble Energy Inc. (NYSE: NBL) has entered a new, larger office in Herzliya Pituah, which will serve as its Israeli headquarters, following its offshore natural gas discoveries that are potentially worth billions of dollars. Subsidiary Noble Energy Mediterranean Inc. has rented 4,000 square meters on three floors in the Ackerstein Tower D from Fishman Holdings subsidiary Industrial Buildings Corp. (TASE: IBLD). Noble Energy is paying NIS 95 per square meter per month.

Noble Energy Mediterranean currently occupies a small office on Shenker Street in Herzliya Pituah, next door to the offices of its Israeli partner, Delek Energy Systems Ltd. (TASE: DEOL).

Houston-based Noble Energy owns 36% of the Tamar license, which is due to begin production in 2012-14, 40% of the Leviathan licenses, and 47.1% of Yam Tethys, which produce gas from its field offshore from Ashkelon.

Eliezer Fishman is the controlling shareholder in “Globes”.
