Canada-Israel plans new NIS 1b north Tel Aviv mall

The company plans a 30,000 square meter mall at the Country Club junction.

Canada-Israel Development Corporation, owned by Barack Rosen and Assaf Tuchmayer, plans to build a new 30,000-square meter mall at the Country Club junction in north Tel Aviv at an investment of over NIS 1 billion.

The mall will be adjacent to Canada-Israel's luxury seafront Blue residential project, which it began building a few months ago near the Mandarin Hotel.

This would be Canada-Israel's first venture in the mall business. The mall will be located between the Ramat Aviv Mall, now owned by the Yuli Ofer-controlled Melisron Ltd. (TASE: MLSR), and the Herzliya's Seven Stars Mall, owned by Ofer Nimrodi-controlled Israel Land Development Company (TASE: ILDC). The new mall will also be near the Herzliya Marina Arena Mall, owned by Israel Financial Levers Ltd. (TASE:LVR), controlled by Jackie Ben-Zakan, and the Cinema City at Glilot Junction.
