Business intelligence co SiSense raises $4m

The firm's customers include PWC Canada, Samsung US, and US retail giant Target.

Business intelligence company SiSense Ltd. has raised $4 million from Genesis Partners, Opus Capital Ventures and private investor Eli Farkash, who serves as chairman.

SiSense, founded in 2005, is already generating revenue and customers include US retail giant Target, PriceWaterhouseCooper Canada, Samsung US and Israeli solar heater manufacturer Chromagen Solar Energy Systems Ltd..

The company was founded by CTO and VP R&D, Eldad Farkash (the son of Eli Farkash), CEO Elad Israeli, Guy Boyangu and Aviad Harell, both of whom serve in no executive capacity.

SiSense provides advanced business intelligence solutions, which can analyze any type of amount of data. This is the company's second round of raising funds having previously raised $1.5 million from private investors.

Based in Netanya, SiSense has 10 employees, and has developed end-to-end solutions that can be installed in the customer's computer systems within hours and does not require any business intelligence expertise. The product can address a large number of complex questions in real-time using a basic PC.
