There has been a change in the top of Israel's website rankings. For the first time, portal Walla! has fallen to fourth place, with a weekly exposure rate of 64.1% in June 2010. It was overtaken by YouTube, whose weekly exposure rate rose 15% over the past six months to 64.3%, putting it in third place, according to the monthly TIM/Teleseker survey.
Google is in first place, with a weekly exposure rate of 91%, followed by FaceBook, after a 16.7% increase in its weekly exposure rate in the first half of the year.
Several other Israeli websites also strengthened during the first half. 5th place ynet's weekly exposure rate rose 5% to 60.2%; 6th place Channel 2 portal Mako's weekly exposure rate rose 4.3%, despite an 11% drop in June; 7th place classified ads site Yad2's weekly exposure rate rose 18.2%, despite a 13% drop in June; and 8th place Nana10's weekly exposure rate rose 10.4%.
Among economic and financial sites, "Globes" saw its weekly exposure rate jumped 13% in June to 13.3%, while rival "TheMarker's" weekly exposure rate fell to 14.1%. "Globes" is the leading financial site at the workplace, where its weekly exposure rate rose 32% in June to 14.8%, putting it in 11th place in the rankings. "TheMarker" is in 14th place with a weekly exposure rate of 12.3%.
In the first half of the year, "Globes" weekly exposure rate rose 4.4%, while "TheMarker" fell 6%. From the workplace, "Globes" weekly exposure rate rose 17.4%, while "TheMarker" fell 10.4%.
