Eden Springs wants to expand its customer base in the country.
Eden Springs Ltd. (Maayanot Eden) (TASE: MEYD) wholly-owned subsidiary Eden Springs (Europe) SA is talks for a possible acquisition of French mineral water company Nestle Waters Direct France from Nestle Waters SAS. Eden Springs did not disclose a price tag or terms under discussion.
Nestle Waters Direct France serves 36,000 business customers through direct marketing. Eden Springs serves 60,000 customers in France, and is seeking to increase its customer base.
Eden Springs said that it delayed announcing the negotiations because a premature statement risked jeopardizing the negotiations or might seriously worsen the terms of a deal.
Eden Springs' share price fell 0.2% in morning trading to NIS 9.39, giving a market cap of NIS 85 million.
