Pentalum Technologies Ltd. has raised $9 million in its first financing round from Cedar Fund, Evergreen Venture Partners, and a US fund, whose name it did not disclose.
The company has developed a LIDAR system, for remote sensing of wind for wind turbines. LIDAR stands for light detection and ranging, an optical remote sensing technology that measures properties of scattered light to find range and other information about a target.
