"Bloomberg" news agency reports that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has survived an assassination attempt. The agency quotes Iranian newspaper "Khabar" as saying that a minibus carrying journalists accompanying Ahmadinejad on a visit to the western city of Hamadan was hit by a grenade.
"Khabar" said that was Ahmadinejad uninjured in the attack. No other details of casualties were reported, and the attacker was arrested.
The TASE reacted to the news in same it did to yesterday's skirmish on the Lebanese border: the TASE fell 0.5% within moments of the news, although it quickly recovered.
