Two flight attendants have filed complaints.
An El Al Israel Airlines Ltd. (TASE: ELAL) captain and purser are suspected of sexually harassing female flight attendants in separate incidents. The flight attendants filed complaints.
In one case, the captain is suspected of sexually harassing a flight attendant at a hotel in the US, where the crew was on a layover. In another case, a purser is suspected sexually harassing a flight attendant during a flight.
So far as is known, the police are not involved in the cases, and El Al is handling the complaints itself. Both the captain and the purser are expected to face disciplinary hearings.
El Al declined to comment on the report. A spokesman said, however, "Any breach of discipline is handled with full seriousness by the company."
