Tel Aviv Turkish embassy building to become hotel

Three more floors will be added with a 58-room hotel planned.

The Tel Aviv Planning and Building Committee is to discuss four plans for hotels in Hayarkon Street at its next meeting. One of the plans is to change the four-floor building at 202 Hayarkon Street, currently leased to the Turkish Embassy, into a six storey hotel with 58 rooms.

Other plans to be discussed include: enlarging the Imperial Hotel at 66 Hayarkon Street by adding 31 rooms to its existing 40 rooms; a 78-room hotel at 106 Hayarkon Street, on the corner of Frishman Street; and an addition of 17 rooms to the 52 room Shalom Hotel at 216 Hayarkon Street.
