The agreement is with Dutch company Enraf Nonius.
Headway Medical Ltd., which has developed a non-invasive treatment of chronic head and neck pain, has signed its first large distribution agreement with Dutch company Enraf Nonius BV, a leading European medical rehabilitation and physiotherapy device company. The deal is worth €2.2 million.
€2 million of the deal will finance the cost of further development of Headway's device, in exchange for which Enraf Nonius will receive exclusive global marketing rights.
Headway's device is a kind of robot that mimics a physiotherapist's movements for treating chronic head and neck pain, customizing the treatment for each patient. The company says that the unique steady movements ease the muscles, improve movement, and reduce head and neck pain.
