Classified ads site WinWin, part of "Yediot Ahronot", today announced a new collaboration with price comparison site Zap, a unit of Golden Pages Ltd.
Under the collaboration, WinWin users will be able to compare prices for second hand goods with prices for comparable new goods via a direct link to the relevant information on Zap. WinWin will also promote Zap on its homepage.
The collaboration is another attempt by WinWin to compete with classified ads site Yad2, which already has a price comparison feature via Kama, which it owns.
According to Google Trends, Winwin had 100,000 daily visitors in September, compared with 190,000 daily visitors at Yad2.
WinWin CEO Yuval Etted said, "As part of our efforts to keep WinWin as a leading classified ads site, we decided this time to enter a new field we haven’t touched before, and to link up with a leading price comparison site like Zap. This strategic collaboration will clearly yield results and contribute to both parties."
