Radcom wins Latin America telecom deal

The provider's network offers data and voice services to more than 40 million customers.

Telecommunications network service assurance company Radcom Ltd. (Nasdaq: RDCM) said today that it has been selected by a tier-1 telecommunications company in Latin America in a deal worth $4 million.

Tel Aviv-based Radcom said the customer, whom it did not name, is a major player in the Latin American market. The company said that the major operator is the largest provider of long distance call services in Latin America, and its network provides data and voice services to more than 40 million customers. The deal is another move by Radcom to develop its business in Latin America.

The operator purchased Radcom's Omni-Q Service Assurance solution to monitor its network.

Radcom shares closed yesterday at $9.90, giving a market cap of $51.66 million.
