Employee attendance and management systems developer Synel Industries Ltd. (TASE: SNEL) has been chosen by Schulz Catering to manage its payroll and attendance registration.
The deal is estimated to be worth several hundred thousand shekels.
Schulz Catering provides dining and catering services to Israeli high-tech companies, and it employs a total of about 1,500 permanent and temporary employees. Schulz Catering serves about 500 companies in 35 central dining halls spread all around the country, and supplies about 60,000 meals daily.
Synel's fingerprint terminals register and report attendance at each of Schulz's sites. Schulz operates from numerous distant sites, and wanted to be able to manage and receive information in real time. The attendance terminals are equipped with a GPRS component which enables cellular communication, by creating an IP address from which the terminal transmits data to Synel's Harmony system in real time and from any point, through the Internet.
Synel shares are up around 30% in 2010.
