Babylon earned NIS 50 million through its deal with Google in the past two years.
Online translation company Babylon Ltd. (TASE:BBYL) has signed a cooperation agreement with Google Ireland Ltd. The agreement is valid through the end of 2012.
Google Ireland will provide Babylon with online search and advertising services. Google's search engine will be integrated onto Babylon's website, for which Bablyon will pay for each 1,000 searches. Google's Adsense service will also be integrated onto Babylon's website, where ads of customers whose business is related to Babylon will be placed. Babylon will be paid on a per-click basis for these ads.
Babylon added that it has earned NIS 50 million through its collaboration with Google in the past two years.
Babylon's share price rose 0.6% in early trading today to NIS 4.89, giving a market cap of NIS 210 million.
