Teva USA spent $3.12 million on lobbying Congress and the administration in 2010, down from $3.3 million in 2009.
Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (Nasdaq: TEVA; TASE: TEVA) spent $620,000 on lobbying in the fourth quarter of 2010, according to quarterly reports filed by Teva Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. with the Office of the Clerk of the House of Representative, 35% less than the $840,00 spent in the preceding quarter and $780,000 in the corresponding quarter of 2009.
Teva USA spent $3.12 million on lobbying Congress and federal agencies, such as the US Patent and Trademark Office and US Trade Representative, in 2010, down from $3.3 million in 2009. Last year, the company quit the Generic Pharmaceutical Association (GPhA), saying that it would lobby independently in the US.
