Intel Corporation's (Nasdaq: INTC) strong year is reflected in the pay slips of the 7,000 Intel Israel Ltd. employees, who will receive a bonus of 3.2 months salary for 2010. The bonus is larger than the bonus of two months salary plus $1,000 they received for 2009. Intel Israel is run by general manager Maxine Fassberg.
Each Intel Israel employee will receive a bonus of NIS 50,000-80,000, on top of a single-digit pay raise, amounting to NIS 500-1,000.
Intel employees in the US will receive a bonus of four monthly salaries.
2010 was a very strong year for Intel. Last week, it announced that fourth quarter revenue rose 8% over the corresponding quarter of 2009 to $11.5 billion, and that net profit rose 50% to $3.4 billion. For the year as a whole, net profit rose 167% to $11.7 billion, and revenue rose 25% to $43.6 billion.
