JCS Group’s Jerusalem Capital Studios will broadcast the Herzliya Conference, which begins today, live. The conference will be aired to more than 30 networks worldwide. Featured scheduled speakers include president Shimon Peres, minister of defense Ehud Barak, and top IDF figures.
The Herzliya Conference, hosted by the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya’s Institute for Policy and Strategy, is considered to be Israel’s premier conference on strategy and security, and is attended by prominent political, security, economic and academic leaders from Israel and abroad. JCS CEO Hanani Rapaport said, “The tension surrounding events in the Middle East has stirred great international interest, especially regarding what will be said during Israel’s central conference on security and strategy.”
Live broadcasts will be transmitted to the company’s studios in Jerusalem and Tel-Aviv, from which they will be distributed to international broadcast networks including CNN, AP, the German ARD and ZDF networks, Italy's RAI network, the UK's SKY network, Canadian, French, Chinese, and Japanese television networks, and others. The broadcast will also be transmitted to the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), which also transmits its broadcasts to international stations in China and various Arab nations.
