Demographics analysis co TrendIT has completed an investment round from online gaming company 888 Holding plc (LSE:888) controlling shareholder Avi Shaked. The investment is believed to be around $3 million and follows an investment made several months ago by Beni Schneider and Rami Tamir.
trendIT has developed real time demographics solutions that enable customers to monitor and analyze any location using mobile derived signals. Data and analysis received from trendIT is changing dramatically and the way crucial logistic and marketing decisions are made in the retail and homeland security industries. trendIT's solutions can for example assist shopping centers and the retail sector in obtaining data about total visitors, average stay time, socioeconomic status and more.
The company will use the funding for global expansion in the retail and homeland security market, focusing on the US.
trendIT was founded in 2008 by Dr.Erez Winroth and is headquartered in Hod Hasharon.
trendIT has eight employees and plans to grow 60% over the next year.
