Gaydamak finds buyer for Caesarea mansion

Arcadi Gaydamak put the property up for sale two years ago at the same time that he put up for sale a house in Herzliya Pituah.

Sources inform ''Globes'' that Arcadi Gaydamak has sold his 1,400-square meter ten-room house in a four-dunam (one-acre) lot at 6 Hadar Street in Caesarea for NIS 47.4 million to Shlomo Ben Haim.

Gaydamak bought the property from heart surgeon Daniel Gur in September 2001 for NIS 33.2 million. The house was built in 1992, and Gaydamak reportedly bought in after only a few minutes of negotiations. He paid the highest price for a house in Israel by that time.

Gaydamak subsequently bought two adjacent lots to the property. One is a 1.25-dunam (0.3-acre) lot with a 350-square meter house, and the other is a two-dunam (0.5-acre) lot. Ben Haim did not buy these two lots.

Gaydamak put the property up for sale two years ago at the same time that he put up for sale a 700-square meter, three-storey house on a one dunam (0.25-acre) lot in Herzliya Pituah.
