Online routing and personalization solutions developer Netex (Net Express) Ltd. (TASE:NTX) has had two patents authorized by the Israel Patent Office.
One patent is for WWW Addressing, an online and mobile router and direct search product. The technology is the core of Netex's operations, enabling users to type the name of a company in the search box or browser, and go directly to its website.
The second patent is for Personalized Internet Interaction for personalization and customization of webpages.
Netex said that several Israeli companies operate in the field covered by the WWW Addressing patent.
The US Office of Patents and Trademarks approved both patents in September 2009. Netex's share price subsequently jumped 140%.
Netex's share price rose 2.8% on the TASE today to NIS 11.95, giving a market cap of NIS 61 million.
