Leadcom Integrated Solutions Ltd. (TASE:LEAD) has evacuated its employees from the Ivory Coast, where a civil war is ranging between forces of President-elect Alassane Ouattara and Laurent Gbagbo, who refuses to cede power. Leadcom is a subcontractor for building cellular antenna in the country.

Leadcom has moved scores of employees to neighboring countries in order to "provide them protection and save their lives".

Leadcom VP business development Ilan Ziri told "Globes", "The situation there now is anarchy and it is impossible to work there now. Freedom of movement is limited, armed soldiers are wandering through the cities, and the security situation is hazardous for our people. We aren’t afraid, and we're not fleeing from anywhere, but we're acting wisely. Every move is weighed in advance."

Leadcom has 70 employees in Ivory Coast, mostly locals and a few Frenchmen. The company's offices are located in the business center of Abijan. Since beginning operations in the country four years ago, it has built 500 cellular sites for mobile carriers. The company's revenue from the Ivory Coast is estimated at $9 million a year, and its revenue from operations in 14 African countries is estimated at over $35 million.
