Phylogy developed patented broadband transmission products, which do not require the replacement of current network infrastructures.
Ethernet over copper wire solutions developer Actelis Networks Inc. has acquired the intellectual property of US company Phylogy Inc. for an undiclosed sum. The company has also raised $4.5 million from its investors to finance the acquisition and the absorption of Phylogy and its products, as well as other expenses.
Phylogy was founded in 2003. It has developed patented broadband transmission products, which do not require the replacement of current network infrastructures. Actelis will integrate Phylogy's TripleStream DSL technology with its XLR8 Accelerate Everything Ethernet over bonded-copper solutions, enabling Actelis to offer products to the home.
Actelis has raised $120 million since it was founded in 1998.
