Google Trends reports that "Globes" was Israel's top business and financial news site in March 2011. "Globes" has been growing steadily stronger against its peers in recent months.
Google Trends reports that has 135,000 unique users per day in March. Second placed TheMarker had 125,000 unique users per day. Calcalist and Bizportal lagged behind with 95,000 and 60,000 unique users per day, respectively.
Over the preceding 12 months, the number of unique users per day at "Globes" rose by 20%, while "TheMarker" was stable.
Google Trends also reports that, for the first time, news portal Walla! surpassed ynet, with 850,000 unique user day in March, compared with 800,000. The number of unique users per day Walla! rose by 13% over the preceding 12 months, while "ynet" was unchanged.
